What is eCPM?

1. eCPM plays a great role in generatuing income for a site and thus one must use this yardstick while making a website.

2. As told earlier payout in Adsense is calculated on eCPM basis and eCPM means that the total revenue generated and is divided by per thousand impressions. 

3. I will illustrate the same with an example and same is listed below:

Net eCPM x Total NO. Of Impressions / 1000 = Net Pub Payment 

Say your  eCPM is 4.91 and total impression for the advt is 3734; than your total revenue is as listed below:

4.91 x 3734/ 1000 = Rs.18.34.
