Optimising H1 and H2 tags to rank High in Google

1. One can have a better search engine optimisation (SEO) provided one is using the H1 and H2 tags as it tells search engines importance of content and accordingly the google adsense ads are served on the site.

2. H1 and H2 tags helps the webmaster to break up page content and one can say that it is similar to introduction, contnet body and conclusion which are generally highlighted. It give readers a chance to skim through a page and determine its relevance.

3. As a thumb rule only one H1 tag in a single page and that too at the top of the content. However multiple H2 and H3 tags can exist in a page.

4. For image optimisation one must include the Alt tags and actual file path to the image should include important keywords and ensure that it makes sense when a search engine indexes the same.
